Update 1.2 known issues:
![Torrent Torrent](/uploads/1/2/6/0/126089685/685228211.jpg)
- Incorrect labels in the Options menu:
- Windowed Mode” should be “Display Mode”
- “Adaptive Resolution fps Threshold ” should be “Adaptive Resolution fps Target ”
- “Borderless windowed mode ” should be “Borderless Fullscreen ”
- “Field of Vision” should be “Field of View ”
- “God Rays” should be “Light Shafts ”
- Adaptive Resolution fps Threshold setting is not accurately reflected in the Visuals menu after restarting the game when fps Limiter is used.
- Adaptive Resolution fps Threshold becomes locked to the previous fps Limiter setting when V-sync is enabled.
- Workaround: Toggle V-sync off, then change the fps Limiter to the desired setting before re-enabling V-sync.
- A visual distortion may occur at the bottom of the screen when toggling Triple Buffering while in-game.
- Workaround: Toggle Triple Buffering at the Main Menu, or turn it off then back on while in-game to remove the distortion.
- The in-game frame rate may remain locked to 60 fps when the V-sync setting is set to Full on a monitor that supports higher than 60Hz refresh rates.
- Workaround: Disable V-sync and manually set the fps Limiter setting to higher than 60 to achieve frame rates above 60 fps.
- The fps Limiter setting only displays text in English and is not localised.
- Workaround: None. Localisation is expected to be implemented in a future update.
- The Adaptive Resolution setting will change to display as Manual when exiting and re-entering the Visual settings menu after setting it to Always.
- Workaround: None. This is a visual issue with the menu. The Adaptive Resolution setting will still be enabled and set to the default for the Always setting.
- Keyboard and Mouse controls may display latency in menus and during gameplay when V-sync is set to Half.
- Workaround: Either Disable V-sync or change the setting to Full.
- frame rate may not be accurately locked to 30fps when setting V-sync to Half
- Workaround: Disable V-sync and change the fps Limiter setting, or increase the V-sync setting.
- Multiple confirmation prompts may appear when cancelling a change to the Triple Buffering Setting.
- Workaround: None. Cancel the prompt again until it no longer appears.
- frame rate may be decreased when using V-sync without Triple Buffering Enabled
- Workaround: Enable Triple Buffering to see if that increases performance, or disable V-sync.
- Controls may become locked if a controller has been disconnected while the game is running
- Workaround: Use Alt+Tab to leave the game window then return, or reconnect the controller.
- Setting the Adaptive Resolution to Off changes the Adaptive Resolution fps Threshold to 29.
- Workaround: None. This is a visual issue with the menu and does not affect the actual in-game frame rate.
Dunwall streets are once again shrouded by the night
Before you embark on Dunwall Streets, investigate the initial corridor. You'll find your first painting: Custis, Morgan, and the Postulate Child, worth 200 coins. Once you leave the building, you'll need to travel through the streets to reach the port, where a boat awaits. You can either apply force to get through the guards, or sneak past them. When looking at the screenshot above, your first stop should be the house on the left.
Take the painting to reveal the combination for the safe.
After reaching the destination, go to the room below to find a safe with a code lock. The code is located under the painting on the right (451). The Obtuse Angle of Lady Boyle will be your second painting (200 coins), and the last one in this mission. The safe itself contains two silver bars (75 coins per item) and ammunition for the weapon.
The entrance that will allow you to pass through undetected.
Once you explore the said building, go to the street and start moving further into Dunwall. The moment shown on the screenshot allows acquiring a map, which hangs on the wall to the right. If you don't want to kill the guards, the only method of getting the map is sneaking through the lower right canal, and using a small passage which is seen on the screenshot. Map will hang on the opposite wall.
After picking-up the map, go to the left, and enter Dunwall Courier building (check the map found earlier to locate the building). The courier himself is on the top floor of the office. If you decide to help him, and stun the guard who is interrogating him, you'll receive a medal after the mission is over. Remember that after taking care of the guard, you need to return to the courier and talk to him.
If you want to gather some coins, once the courier situation is taken care of, and you've searched the building, go to the edifice on the other side (Boyle Industries). There is a house with a locked door. You can access it from the back alley (use the door located at the end of stairs). The building is full of guards, so decide upon the elimination method before you proceed to explore the rooms. The best approach is using bottles or other items that attract enemy attention. The guards will use the stairs one at the time, so you won't have any problems eliminating them. The brute force variant is also present if that is how you want to proceed - in this case, go straight to the bottom floor and kill the guards. There is a body in the main room, with some cash registers and safes in the adjacent room. You'll score some valuables, but the biggest earnings come from destroying cabinets and taking valuable items found in them.
To stay undetected, use a small passageway on the left side.
Once you explore the first part of Dunwall streets you can either go through the main gate, or use the balcony in Dunwall Courier building to get through the area undetected. Regardless of the chosen way, make your way to The Black Pony Pub. You can find some valuables there that should be picked up before boarding the boat.

Once you leave the pub, turn to the left (screenshot). There are two members of Hatters Gang that need to be eliminated. The building on the right has a star map lying on the table, which should be picked up before proceeding to the boat (you'll get 50 coins for it).

When you leave the building, you'll see the view similar to the one found on the screenshot above. You can jump into the water and swim up to the boat, or use the path on the right to search last parts of this location. However, you'll only find some notes and coins (around 50 to be exact). If you are ready, go up to the boat and meet with Meagan Foster. After a short conversation with the captain, decide if you are ready to leave Dunwall and travel to Karnaca. If you want to revisit some leftover secret, do so before leaving Dunwall. A summary after the mission will help you check your progress.
